UEFA Allocating Large Financial Prizes For The Winners Of The First Places In The Euro 2024
The European Football Association (UEFA) has earmarked significant financial rewards for the winners of the first places in the Euro 2024 Tournament, which will be hosted by Germany, the “mundodeportivo” daily reported on its official website.
And the Spanish daily stated that the European Football Association has allotted 331 million euros, an increase of 59% over the last competition, Euro 2020, which will be divided to the participant teams.
The winner of Euro 2024 will receive 30 million euros, and the runner-up will receive 17 million euros, the newspaper claimed.
7.25 million euros will be distributed to the teams that advance to the semifinal stage, while 3.25 million euros will be given to the teams that advance to the quarterfinal round.
On March 15, UEFA posted on its official website the schedule and specifics for the qualifications, which will begin on Thursday, March 23, as well as information about the tournament and the stadiums where the matches will be played.
